The Journal of Pediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery (JPCCS) is a peer reviewed, open access publication devoted to all aspects of pediatric cardiology and cardiac surgery. Basic and clinical approaches are welcomed in relevant topics, which can include congenital heart disease, Kawasaki disease, cardiomyopathy, arrhythmias, pulmonary hypertension, and other rare heart problems. The journal publishes a diverse range of article types that explore the diagnosis, management, treatment (medical, interventional, or surgical), and prevention of relevant diseases in fetuses, infants, children, adolescents and adults. The journal considers manuscripts that add to the archive of clinical and academic knowledge, including excellent reports on rare cases and studies with negative results.
Supported by the Japanese Society of Pediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery, JPCCS is published online twice per year to a broad international audience of clinicians and researchers. The journal’s Editorial Board oversees the rigorous peer review, ethical practice and quality control necessary to ensure that the journal best promotes patient care, clinical practice, research, education, and policy.
